Peggy, a secretary, lives alone with her beagle Pencil and they have a
relationship full of love and companionship.
When Pencil suddenly dies Peggy's life has no meaning anymore.
In search of happiness she meets Newt, who is into
animal activism and a vegan lifestyle. Her friends, colleagues, brother and his wife are
concerned since her life is dangerously out of balance.
